Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH)

Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) is one of the countries' leading teaching hospitals, with an international reputation as a centre of excellence, and one of only 5 biomedical research centres in the UK. Their website, therefore, is a central resource for information for patients, visitors, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders such as the media and government. The site gets over 70,000 visits a week, from all over the world.

As web editor for this site,  I have managed a phased migration to Drupal from a traditional HTML website - a move that was essential to secure the sustainabilty of the site. Drupal allows several content editors to contribute with central editorial control sitting with the online communications team.

It is an ever expanding website - Drupal has proved to be invaluable in allowing new features and functionality to be added and proving the scalability it can offer when it comes to large websites.
